Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with a minimum of 18 months of recent ICU experience for a night shift travel assignment at an acute care hospital in Indianapolis, IN.

Details

• Night shift hours: 7p–7:30a (3x12)
• Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday), plus two rotating weekdays
• Float between multiple hospital campuses and affiliate locations
• Cerner EMR; charting experience required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Current RRT credential issued by the NBRC
• Active Indiana or Compact respiratory therapy license required if applicable
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications required; AHA and RQI formats accepted
• Minimum 18 months of recent ICU experience required (2 years preferred)
• Education must be from a program accredited by CoARC and regionally accredited through CHEA
• Cerner charting experience required

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Candidates must be available to work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Up to 5 days of RTO may be approved during the contract
• Former permanent or PRN employees of this facility must have been separated for at least 12 months before applying as a traveler
• Local candidates are not accepted for this position
• Candidates must confirm in writing prior to consideration that they are comfortable with the every other weekend requirement
• Any perm or PRN employee of IU Health must be away for 12 months before applying as a traveler
