American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a day shift travel assignment at a Level II Trauma Center in Bradenton, FL, requiring at least 2 years of experience and current BLS, ACLS, and NRP or STABLE certifications.

Details

• Respiratory Therapy department at a 383-bed Level II Trauma Center in Bradenton, FL
• Day shift hours: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM (12-hour shifts)
• Equipment used includes Servo I, GE, V60, Airvo, and Vapotherm
• EMR: Meditech (experience preferred)
• ICU experience preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RRT license and certification required; license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in respiratory therapy
• Must have active experience in the specialty within the last 6 months
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS (AHA or ARC accepted)
• NRP or STABLE certification required
• Certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start date
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration — no Canadian SSNs accepted
• Two professional references required (Florida facility)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — no local candidates considered
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Traveler will be scheduled in accordance with facility policy, including every other weekend and holidays on a rotating basis with hospital staff
• Grey scrubs required for Respiratory Therapy staff
