Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT or CRT) with at least 3 years of acute care experience for a 13-week night shift travel contract in Berlin, NH.

Details

• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:00 PM - 6:00 AM), 36 hours per week
• Acute care inpatient setting serving ED, inpatient, and transport to tertiary care patients
• Typical therapist-to-patient ratio of 1:5 or 1:6
• No on-call requirements
• Weekend requirements to be determined
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are eligible to apply

Requirements

• RRT or CRT credential accepted
• Minimum 3 years of current acute care experience required
• High degree of proficiency with ventilators required
• Experience with HHN, BiPAP, and CPAP required
• Active BLS certification through the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Active NBRC or CRT credential required
• NH Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) licensure required; temporary license accepted, and candidates must be willing to apply for a temporary NH RCP at time of offer (approximately 7–14 day turnaround)
• License required if applicable
• Previous travel experience highly preferred
• One supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment required for consideration
• Completed Respiratory Therapist skills checklist required for consideration
• Permanent address must be provided

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy services across ED, inpatient, and transport to tertiary care settings
• Scrubs in any color required; no denim, closed-toe shoes only, and no perfume or cologne
• All licenses and certifications must be current
• No more than 5 days of RTO (requested time off) can be accommodated, and RTO must be submitted prior to offer — requests submitted after offer may not be honored
