Description

American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) for an inpatient rehab assignment at a 536-bed acute care teaching hospital, requiring Epic proficiency and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Inpatient rehabilitation unit within a short-term acute care teaching hospital with 536 staffed beds
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts (7:00am–5:00pm), Sunday through Wednesday schedule
• One weekend day required per week
• Charting via Epic (experience required)
• Travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of SLP experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Current and applicable SLP license (license required if applicable)
• At least 2 supervisory references covering a minimum of 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Scrub color is open (any color); OR/Cath Lab scrubs are provided
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• RTO is expected to be minimal; all time-off requests must be disclosed prior to submission, as post-offer requests may be denied
• No on-call required
• No parking fee
