American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience for a 13-week day shift contract at a Level III Trauma Center in Washington State.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital setting at a Level III Trauma Center with 104 staffed beds
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Rotating weekends required
• Block scheduling required
• Patient ratios are points-based and vary
• Charting via Epic (required)
• No on-call required
• No floating between units within this facility; however, travelers may be expected to float between facilities within Washington State
• Parking is provided at no cost
• Scrubs: any color accepted

Requirements

• Current RRT credential required
• Minimum 2 years of RRT experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• ACLS and PALS certifications required
• NRP certification preferred
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• A minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of total employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting are required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy services in an acute care environment
• All scrub colors are permitted
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the facility
• Refusal to float between facilities within Washington State may result in assignment termination
• Minimal RTO is expected; time off requests should be submitted prior to or at the time of offer, as post-offer requests may be denied
