American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a high-risk Labor & Delivery position requiring ACLS, BLS, NRP, and teaching hospital experience, working night shifts at a facility in New Orleans, LA.

Details

• High-risk OB unit in a teaching hospital setting
• Labor & Delivery department serving a high-volume unit with approximately 200–300 births per month
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM)
• Weekend work required as needed
• On-call required as needed
• Float requirement to the Mother/Baby unit
• Hospital-provided scrubs
• Epic EMR used (experience required)

Requirements

• Active Louisiana (LA) or Compact RN license currently in hand
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and FHM
• Minimum 2 years of L&D nursing experience required
• Teaching hospital experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Supervisory reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Work history with any gaps of more than 30 days must be explained

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the contract
• Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible for this travel assignment
