American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a high-risk Labor & Delivery position at a teaching hospital, requiring ACLS, BLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and FHM certifications along with Epic proficiency.

Details

• High-risk OB unit in a teaching hospital setting
• Labor & Delivery unit handling approximately 200–300 births per month
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
• Weekend shifts required as needed
• On-call required as needed
• Floating required to the Mother/Baby unit
• Epic EMR experience required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Louisiana (LA) or Compact RN license required
• Minimum 2 years of L&D experience required
• Teaching hospital experience required
• Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate, and Fetal Heart Monitoring (FHM)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration
• Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained

Additional Information

• Scrubs are provided by the facility
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate
• Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible
• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the contract
