American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Behavioral Health (Psychiatric) night shift position in Dayton, OH, requiring 2 years of recent inpatient psychiatric experience and current AHA certifications.

Details

• Inpatient behavioral health/psychiatric unit setting
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract
• Every other weekend required

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact multi-state RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (American Heart Association only; RCIS and RQI certifications not accepted)
• Current CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience in an inpatient psychiatric setting
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assessment, care planning, intervention, evaluation, and participation in discharge planning for behavioral health patients
• Communicates changes in patient condition with physicians, nursing supervisors, and care team members as appropriate
• Develops nursing care plans in coordination with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
• Prior work history at any Kindred Hospital facility (permanent or contract) must be disclosed
