American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a PACU position requiring experience recovering patients from general surgery, GI endoscopy, and post-op procedures, with day shift and call requirements.

Details

• PACU unit within a hospital setting
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM
• Weekend and weekday call required
• Patient population includes those recovering from general surgery, GI endoscopy, and post-operative procedures
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active TX RN license or compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Experience recovering patients from general surgery, GI endoscopy, and post-op procedures required
• 2 supervisor references from within the last 3 years of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 110 miles from the facility to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• The facility conducts its own drug screen upon arrival, including marijuana; a positive result will result in immediate cancellation with no exceptions
• Candidates should avoid all substances that could produce a positive drug screen result prior to arrival, including CBD products
