American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Case Management position requiring inpatient CM experience, Epic proficiency, and a Maryland RN license for a Monday–Friday day shift schedule.

Details

• Inpatient case management unit within an acute care hospital setting
• Average daily caseload of 15 cases
• Patient population involves inpatient case management including coordination of medical home care, placement, and social services for safe discharges
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 5x8-hour day shifts (8:00–16:30); no weekend requirement, though weekend shifts may be available
• No on-call responsibilities
• Floating required between two facilities (Bel Air and Aberdeen campuses, approximately 10 miles apart) as needed
• Epic EMR used; experience preferred

Requirements

• Active RN license in Maryland (MD state license) or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• BLS certification preferred
• Minimum 3 years of RN experience required
• Inpatient case management (CM) experience required
• Inpatient hospital/acute care experience required
• Epic charting experience preferred

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include coordinating medical home care, placement, and wrap-around social services to facilitate safe patient discharges
• Business casual attire required (no scrubs)
• Holiday coverage required as shifts fall on the schedule
• First-time travelers with inpatient hospital/acute care experience will be considered
• Any time-off requests should be disclosed upfront at the time of consideration
