Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a day shift NICU position at a children's hospital that also requires float coverage to adult units.

Details

• Position is based at a children's hospital connected to an adjacent adult medical center on the same campus
• Primary assignment is in the NICU, with float coverage to adult units as needed
• NICU, Pediatric, PICU, and adult care patient populations
• Day shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:00 AM – 6:30 PM
• No on-call requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Current RRT certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• Experience in NICU, Pediatrics, PICU, and adult care is required
• AHA certifications only: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP
• Active state license required if applicable
• Two supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible

Additional Information

• Orientation begins on Mondays with online computer-based learning (CBLs)
• Contract team members are expected to actively participate in clinical student education and support alongside their regular clinical duties
