American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Step Down / Med-Surg Telemetry position requiring at least 2 years of PCU or Med-Surg Telemetry Acute Care experience, with night shift availability and every-other-weekend commitment.

Details

• Work setting is an acute care hospital environment on a Med-Surg / PCU unit (7W), with placement determined by the greatest unit need at time of assignment
• Accepts both Med-Surg and Step Down RN candidates — same credentialing applies for both
• Night shift: 19:00–07:30
• Every-other-weekend (EOW) and every-other-holiday (EOH) required
• Floating required within skill set onsite or to sister sites within 40 miles

Requirements

• Active WI RN license or a Compact RN license currently in hand
• BLS and ACLS certifications required, both must be AHA-issued
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification required
• Minimum 2 years of PCU, Med-Surg Telemetry, or Acute Care experience required
• Must possess a valid US Social Security Number and provide a US home address
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of Driver's License required for consideration

Additional Information

• Traveler may be placed on either a PCU or Med-Surg/Telemetry unit based on current facility need and individual skill set
• Local candidates are welcome to apply; however, local candidates may be subject to a reduced pay rate depending on proximity to the facility
• 13-week contract
