American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of Level 4 NICU experience for a day shift travel assignment in a high-acuity neonatal unit in Orlando, FL.

• Level 4 NICU at a large women's and babies' hospital in Orlando, FL
• 142-bed NICU unit caring for premature infants
• Patient ratio of 6–8:1
• Equipment includes HFJV, HFOV, conventional ventilators, nitric oxide, BCPAP, HHFNC, LTV, T1, and MR1
• EMR: Epic
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts, 06:45–19:15
• 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• No call or float requirements
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• RRT credential required
• BLS and NRP certifications required; all certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA)
• Minimum 2 years of recent Level 4 NICU experience required
• HFJV experience required
• License required if applicable
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy services to premature and critically ill neonatal patients in a Level 4 NICU
• No licensed character imagery permitted on scrubs; no specific scrub color required
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (Florida) or more than 50 miles (Alabama) to be eligible — local candidates are not accepted
• All certifications must be AHA-issued; American Red Cross certifications are not accepted
