Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of Level 4 NICU experience for a day shift travel contract at a large women's and babies' hospital in Orlando, FL.

Details

• Level 4 NICU at a 142-bed unit specializing in premature infant care
• Patient ratio of 6–8:1
• Equipment used includes HFJV, HFOV, Conventional ventilators, Nitric Oxide, BCPAP, HHFNC, LTV, T1, and MR1
• EMR: Epic
• Day shift, 3x12 schedule: 06:45–19:15
• 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• No float or call requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active RRT license (license required if applicable)
• Current AHA certifications: BLS and NRP
• Minimum 2 years of recent Level 4 NICU experience
• HFJV experience required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• All certifications must be from the American Heart Association (AHA); American Red Cross certifications are not accepted

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy to critically ill and premature neonatal patients in a Level 4 NICU
• No licensed character graphics are permitted on scrubs; no preference on scrub color
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility (Florida) or more than 50 miles (Alabama) to be eligible; local candidates are not accepted
