American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PCU (Progressive Care Unit) travel position at a Magnet-status teaching hospital, requiring a minimum of 2 years of PCU experience and ICU background.

Details

• Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at a short-term acute care, Magnet-designated teaching hospital with 332 staffed beds
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (6:45 PM – 7:15 AM)
• Floating required within scope to all 3 system hospitals (within approximately 20 miles)
• Block scheduling is not available
• Epic EMR used; proficiency level 3 or 4 required
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required (pending license accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of PCU experience required, along with ICU experience
• Current AHA or American Red Cross BLS and ACLS certifications required at time of consideration
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification must be obtained prior to start
• Epic EMR proficiency at a level 3 or 4 required
• Familiarity with cardiac drips required
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card (PDF copies) required for consideration

• All requested time off (RTO) must be submitted at the time of application; RTO requests added after submission are unlikely to be approved
• Travelers may not exceed 18 consecutive months at any Cleveland Clinic location, and must wait a minimum of 6 months before beginning another assignment at a Cleveland Clinic location
