American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN Navigator for a GI-focused outpatient clinic role in Duluth, GA, requiring Epic experience and weekend availability.

Details

• Outpatient clinic setting focused on GI patient care
• Role functions as an RN Navigator, providing education and resources to support informed decision-making and care coordination across the care continuum
• Performs care assessments and triage of new and ongoing patients, including those on clinical research studies, via phone, in-clinic, or other communication methods
• Clinical responsibilities include nasogastric (NG) tube management
• Day shift: 7:45 AM – 4:15 PM, 8 hours/day, 40 hours/week
• Weekend scheduling is included
• Epic EMR is used

Requirements

• Active RN license in Georgia or a Compact RN license recognized in GA — must be active at time of consideration; pending licensure is not accepted
• Active BLS certification required at time of consideration
• GI or outpatient clinic nursing experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration

• Coordinates with multidisciplinary healthcare team members to ensure timely access to quality health and psychosocial care throughout all phases of the care continuum
• Local candidates are accepted and receive the same rate as travelers
• Per facility policy, contingent workers who have worked at this organization are subject to tenure limitations — travelers may not exceed two cumulative years of assignment without a 90-day break in service
