American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for an Oncology unit position at an acute care hospital in a beachside setting, requiring a CA RN license in hand and Epic EMR experience.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting located beachside
• Oncology unit
• Day shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00–19:00)
• Charting via Epic EMR
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within the state — refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Parking is available on-site for a fee (hang-tag or key-card options)

Requirements

• Active CA RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required
• SSN and DOB required
• Valid LA fire card obtained within the last 30 days required
• Chemo certification is not required

Additional Information

• Scrub color: Navy Blue for RNs
• Holiday coverage required — must commit to working 3 of the following 5 holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility are considered local; local candidates are accepted
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler, and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• Previous employment at any Providence facility (permanent, travel, or registry/per-diem) must be disclosed, including location and dates
• All license or background hits must be disclosed upfront
• RTO requests should be minimal; all RTO must be submitted prior to or at the time of submission, as post-offer requests may be denied
