American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for an outpatient Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation setting in Danbury, CT, with required outpatient experience and preferred orthopedics or vestibular training background.

Details

• Outpatient Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation setting
• Department hours are Monday–Thursday 7:00 AM–8:00 PM and Friday 7:00 AM–5:00 PM
• Schedule is 4 or 5 days per week, with 2 evening shifts required until 8:00 PM

Requirements

• Active Connecticut Physical Therapy license required; license application screenshot accepted if applicable
• Outpatient physical therapy experience required
• Outpatient orthopedics experience preferred
• Vestibular training is a plus
• Only AHA-issued BLS certification accepted
• Two professional references rated 'standard or above average' from a manager or above within the prior year are required for consideration

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include performing therapy evaluations, treatment planning, and implementation in accordance with department clinical guidelines and protocols
• Participates in team conferences and rounds to coordinate patient plans of care
• Provides patient and family education and training
• Candidates who live within 60 miles of the facility may be considered at a reduced rate
