Description

American Traveler is seeking a Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a NICU position at a Level 1 trauma center, requiring a valid MA license and a minimum of 3 years of critical care experience.

Details

• NICU unit at a Level 1 trauma center with high-acuity patients
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15)
• 13-week contract
• Every other weekend and major holiday coverage required
• Cross-campus coverage required, spanning multiple campuses including one location with 6:00–18:00 hours

Requirements

• Active MA Respiratory Therapist license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 3 years of critical care experience
• Previous NICU experience required
• Level 1 trauma center experience required
• Current certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS
• Two professional references required for consideration, at least one of which must be from a Nurse Manager or higher
• Candidates must reside at least 200 miles from the facility to qualify for this position

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy services to critically ill neonatal patients in the NICU
• Cross-campus coverage spans multiple hospital campuses
• Pass/fail EKG test required
