American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for a 13-week travel assignment at a Magnet-designated, Level II Trauma acute care hospital in Alaska.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting; Magnet-designated facility, Level II Trauma, and USNWR Best Hospital in Alaska
• Unit covers both inpatient and outpatient pediatric PT
• Day shift, 5x8 schedule (8:00–16:30)
• 1–2 weekend shifts required per month
• Floating between all facilities within the state is expected; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Charting via Epic (required)
• Scrubs provided by the facility
• Free parking on-site
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required; first-time travelers accepted with at least 2 years of experience
• Pediatric and acute care experience required
• Alaska PT license required (compact PT license available); license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of pediatric patients across both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler
• RTO is limited to one request of 5 days or fewer per 13-week assignment; no holiday RTO
• Block scheduling is not available for this position
• Pending licenses are accepted
