Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PICU position at a pediatric hospital in Ohio, requiring recent Level 1 experience and an OH or Compact RN license.

Details

• Work in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) of a major children's hospital in Ohio
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Floating required to NICU, CV PICU, ED, stepdown, and med/surg units as needed
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OH or Compact RN license required
• Minimum of 2 years of PICU experience highly preferred; first-time travelers considered with closer to 3 years of PICU experience
• Recent Level 1 experience required
• 2 supervisory references required, including at least 1 supervisor or manager (charge nurse references not accepted)

Additional Information

• Local candidates are not eligible for this position
• Candidates who have worked permanently at this facility within the past 2 years are not eligible to apply
• Floating to other units is a standard requirement and should be expected throughout the assignment
• First-time travelers will be considered with sufficient PICU experience
