Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a PACU position requiring PACU and Endoscopy experience with multiple required certifications including BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS.

Details

Post-anesthesia care unit (PACU) setting within a hospital surgical services department
Shifts alternate weekly between 10-hour and 12-hour schedules
Day shift starting at 6:45 AM
On-call responsibilities are required for this position
PACU and Endoscopy patient population

Requirements

Active NC or Compact RN license currently in hand
Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NIHSS
Prior PACU experience required
Endoscopy experience required
Two professional references covering at least 1 year of employment within the last 3 years required for consideration
SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

Provides nursing care to the post-anesthesia patient population following surgical procedures
Position is classified as a Clinical Nurse II role within the nursing administration structure
