American Traveler is hiring a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) for a 13-week travel contract at a large skilled nursing facility in Monterey County, CA, with a flexible weekend-inclusive schedule.

Details

• Large skilled nursing facility (SNF) in Monterey County, CA
• Serves both short-term and long-term residents requiring occupational therapy rehabilitation
• Flex schedule: Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday
• Documents patient care using Net Health EMR

Requirements

• Active CA OTA license required if applicable
• SNF experience preferred; mentorship available for candidates with 0–1 year of experience
• Strong documentation and time-management skills required
• Availability for a Sunday–Thursday or Tuesday–Saturday flex schedule

Additional Information

• Implement occupational therapy treatment plans under the supervision of a licensed Occupational Therapist
• Collaborate with the OT and interdisciplinary care team to deliver patient-centered care focused on improving functional independence
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, Medicare guidelines, and applicable regulatory standards
• Mentorship is available for newer COTAs with limited SNF experience
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
