Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience and required Epic proficiency for a 4-week night shift contract in a hospital respiratory care unit.

Details

• Hospital-based Respiratory Care unit
• Flexibility to provide coverage support in the nursery and ER as needed
• Epic EMR in use; recent experience required
• 12-hour night shifts
• Schedule runs Monday through Sunday; no block scheduling
• Minimum every other weekend availability required, with schedule adjusted to meet unit and patient care needs
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are considered local; those living 51–100 miles away qualify for the travel rate (distance measured in a straight line, not by driving distance)

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• Minimum 2 years of RT experience
• NRP certification required, or documented experience/exposure to neonatal or pediatric populations
• Epic EMR experience within the past 2 years required — non-negotiable
• NY license required for consideration; candidates with proof of a pending NY license will be reviewed
• License required if applicable
• At least two supervisory or nurse manager references required (one within the past 6 months, one within the past year)
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• All employment gaps over 90 days must be explained

Additional Information

• Bi-weekly orientations are held on Mondays
• Public transportation is not accessible in this area — a personal or rental vehicle is strongly recommended
• Vehicles should be equipped with all-season or snow tires from November through April
• This is an immediate-need position
