American Traveler is seeking a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with at least 1 year of pediatric outpatient experience for a 13-week travel contract in an outpatient pediatric rehabilitation setting.

Details

• Outpatient pediatric rehabilitation setting
• Treats a pediatric population with diagnoses including developmental delays, cerebral palsy, autism, Down syndrome, hydrocephalus, and more
• Caseload of approximately 9 patients per day
• No floating to inpatient units
• Uses Epic EMR
• 4 shifts per week, Monday through Thursday, 10-hour shifts from 0800–1830 with a 30-minute lunch break
• No nights, weekends, or holiday requirements

Requirements

• Active and unrestricted SLP license (license required if applicable); pending licensure is not accepted
• Master's or Doctorate degree in Speech-Language Pathology
• Minimum 1 year of pediatric SLP experience required
• Outpatient experience required
• Current BLS certification required; pending certifications not accepted
• Epic EMR experience
• Driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references required for consideration: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Former permanent employees of this facility must have been separated for at least one year before applying for a travel assignment
• No blocked scheduling or special scheduling requests will be accepted
• Orientation consists of approximately half a day of formal orientation followed by one week with a limited caseload before transitioning to a full caseload
• Business casual attire with closed-toed shoes required
• Collaborative, team-oriented department with a young and energetic staff
• Candidates should be flexible and quick learners
