American Traveler is hiring a travel RN House Supervisor for a night shift position at a long-term acute care hospital in Lima, OH, requiring 5 years of House Supervisor experience and active OH or compact RN licensure.

Details

• Hospital nursing administration / house supervisor role in a long-term acute care setting
• Night shift schedule: 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
• 11-week contract
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or compact multi-state RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only; RCIS and RQI certifications are not accepted)
• Minimum 5 years of House Supervisor experience in a hospital setting
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include day-to-day management and long-term planning of patient care areas, directing and developing nursing staff, and collaborating with physicians and multidisciplinary teams
• Oversees nursing human resource functions including scheduling, coaching, counseling, and performance management
• Monitors nursing operations including quality standards, budget adherence, and infection-control protocols
• Supports patients and families by providing emotional, psychological, and spiritual care in a compassionate environment
• Ensures proper documentation, equipment maintenance, and supply inventory management
• Candidates who have previously worked at any Kindred Hospital facility in a permanent or contract capacity should be prepared to provide details of those prior assignments
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate
