Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Med/Surg position at a Level IV trauma acute care hospital, with day or night shift availability and a minimum of 1 year of experience required.

Details

• Works in the Med/Surg and Transitional Care areas of a 25-bed acute care hospital with 24-hour emergency care and an attached 71-bed skilled extended care facility
• Level IV trauma designation
• Patient ratio of 1:4
• Day shift (7:00–19:00) or night shift available, 3x12-hour shifts
• Every other weekend required
• Floating required to the Transitional Care Unit within scope of practice
• No on-call requirements
• Charting performed in Cerner
• Free parking available on-site

Requirements

• Active MT or Compact RN license required
• Current certifications: BLS and ACLS required; PALS preferred
• Minimum 1 year of RN experience required
• Cerner experience beneficial given charting system in use

• RTO maximum of 5 days per contract; no RTO requests permitted within the first two weeks due to orientation
