American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with at least 2 years of experience and prior travel experience for a night shift position at a Magnet-designated acute care teaching hospital in Washington State.

Details

• Work in an adult respiratory therapy unit at a 637-bed short-term acute care, Magnet-designated teaching hospital
• Night shift schedule, 4x12 hours (19:00–07:30)
• Weekend availability required as needed by the unit
• Charting in Epic (preferred but not required)
• Floating within the hospital may be required; no floating to sister hospitals
• No on-call requirement
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rates with no radius restriction
• 13-week contract minimum

Requirements

• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) national certification required
• Washington State Respiratory Care license required (no pending licenses accepted)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an adult RRT
• Minimum 2 completed travel assignments beyond initial hospital experience
• COVID vaccination and booster required — no exceptions
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Teaching hospital and trauma hospital experience is preferred
• Epic charting experience is preferred but not required
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• RTO may not be requested during orientation week; RTO is limited to 1 week maximum for the duration of the contract
• Former UW staff must have been separated from the facility for at least 18 months before being eligible to return as a traveler
• Scrubs provided for OR personnel; any scrub color accepted otherwise
• Parking is available at a cost of approximately $10.26/day
