American Traveler is hiring a travel Occupational Therapist for an acute care hospital setting, with Epic proficiency required and a preference for 10-hour day shifts.

Details

• Short-term acute care hospital with 536 total staff beds
• OT Acute Care unit with potential float to any unit within the same facility as needed
• Day shift, 4x10-hour shifts preferred (7:00–17:00); some flexibility for 8-hour shifts
• 3 weekend days required per month on a rotation schedule
• One holiday shift required per year
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Epic EMR required
• Scrubs: any color accepted; OR/Cath Lab scrubs are provided by the facility
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OT license required; OR license required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of OT experience required
• Epic EMR proficiency required
• Acute care experience required
• BLS certification required
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Teaching hospital environment
• Float coverage may be required across units within the same facility; training will be provided for unfamiliar units
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
• All requested time off must be disclosed prior to submission; RTO requests made after submission or offer may be denied
• Minimal RTO is expected for this position
• No on-call required
