Description

American Traveler is seeking an ECMO Specialist/Respiratory Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of ECMO experience for a 13-week night shift pediatric contract supporting NICU, PICU, and CICU patients.

Details

• Work in a pediatric children's hospital supporting three critical care units: NICU, PICU, and CICU
• Patients are placed on ECMO for respiratory and/or cardiac failure, either for recovery support or as a bridge to heart or lung transplant
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts, 19:00–07:00
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of ECMO Specialist/pump management experience required
• ECMO Specialist experience is mandatory for consideration
• Current certifications: ACLS and BLS
• Driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• Two professional references required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Responsible for providing prolonged cardiac and respiratory support to pediatric patients whose heart and/or lungs are unable to sustain adequate gas exchange or perfusion
• Provide ECMO support across all three pediatric critical care units
