American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant with an active Oregon license and a minimum of 1 year of experience for a 13-week acute care hospital assignment.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within a Rehabilitation department
• Rehabilitation team evaluates and treats patients with injuries or conditions causing decline in physical mobility or functional independence
• Patient population includes acute and swing bed rehab cases spanning orthopedic, neurological, stroke, pediatric, and balance/dizziness conditions
• Day shift schedule, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekend requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Current, unencumbered Oregon Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) license required — license required if applicable
• Current Healthcare Provider BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of experience as a PTA required

Additional Information

• Works under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to administer physical therapy services and provide technical support for efficient delivery of care
• Services provided include support for sports and orthopedic rehab, neurological and stroke rehab, pediatric rehab, balance and dizziness rehab, wheelchair seating, and neck, back, and extremity care
• This facility strictly adheres to all posted job requirements and will not make exceptions for certifications, experience, or licensure
