American Traveler is seeking an experienced CVOR RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Ohio, requiring a minimum of 1 year of CVOR experience and Epic proficiency in a Level I Trauma facility.

Details

• CVOR setting within a large academic medical center
• Patient population includes cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and transplant cases
• Shift hours range from 6:30 AM to 11:00 PM with on-call requirements — flexibility across days, evenings, and nights is required
• Schedule consists of a combination of 2x8-hour and 2x12-hour shifts per week
• On-call hours vary by shift: day shift RNs take approximately 30–40 hours of call per 4-week period, evening shift requires approximately 24 hours of weekend call, and night shift involves minimal weekend call
• Epic EMR experience is required

Requirements

• Active OH RN license or a compact RN license currently in hand
• Current BLS and NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certifications required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in cardiac, vascular, and transplant settings
• Minimum 1 year of CVOR experience required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Level I Trauma facility required
• Proficiency in general OR, cardiovascular, thoracic, vascular, and transplant procedures
• Epic EMR experience required
• 2 professional supervisory references from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Full 7-year work history with all gaps explained required for consideration
