Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced Inpatient Rehab Physical Therapist with a minimum of 2 years of experience and a strong background in neuro rehab, including stroke and brain injury patients, for a 13-week contract in California.

Details

• Inpatient acute rehabilitation unit
• Patient population includes stroke, brain injury, and other complex neurological conditions
• Day shift schedule: 5x8-hour shifts, 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of PT experience required
• Inpatient acute rehabilitation experience required
• Neuro rehab experience required, including stroke and brain injury; 6–12 months preferred
• Current CA PT license required; must be in hand prior to consideration
• Current BLS certification required; must be in hand prior to consideration
• 2 supervisor references from within the past two years required for consideration
• CA license required if applicable

• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Former employees must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates within 50 miles of the facility are accepted
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved during the contract
• The patient population is considered complex and clinically vulnerable, requiring strong clinical judgment and experience in neuro rehab
