American Traveler is seeking a travel RN for an Operating Room position in Lewiston, ID, requiring at least 2 years of recent OR experience and an active Idaho or multi-state RN license.

Details

• Day shift schedule, 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday
• On-call required one day per week and one weekend per month
• Hospital-based OR setting
• Surgical specialties include General surgery, Orthopedics (including robotic knee replacement), Neurosurgery, and Trauma; Da Vinci robotic experience preferred
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active Idaho RN license or multi-state compact RN license currently in hand
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required (AHA only; RCIS and RQI certifications are not accepted)
• Minimum 2 years of recent RN experience in an OR setting
• Experience with General surgery, Orthopedics, Neuro, and Trauma required; Da Vinci robotic experience preferred
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include scrubbing and circulating surgical cases, scheduling cases, ensuring supply readiness, maintaining physician preference cards, communicating with patient families, and supervising personnel delivering patient care
• Collaborates with surgeons, anesthesiologists, OR techs, and other clinical staff in accordance with AORN standards and state Nurse Practice Act
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local pay rate
• Previous permanent or contract employment at any facility within the Scion Health/Community Hospital system must be disclosed
