Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant with an active Oregon license and 2+ years of experience for an outpatient therapy position at a short-term acute care facility.

Details

• Outpatient PTA role within a 108-bed short-term acute care hospital
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Day shift, 5x8-hour shifts, 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM
• No on-call, weekend, or block schedule requirements
• No floating between units within this assignment
• Charting is performed using Epic (experience required)

Requirements

• Active Oregon PTA license required
• Minimum 2 years of PTA experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Travelers may be expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in assignment termination
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of this facility
• Minimal RTO is expected for this position; requests should be disclosed upfront as post-offer RTO changes may be denied
• Scrubs of any color are acceptable for this role
