American Traveler is seeking an experienced Cardiovascular OR (CVOR) Surgical Tech for a 13-week travel contract in Ohio, requiring 5+ years of CST experience including CVOR and Level I Trauma background.

Details

• CVOR setting within a large academic medical center heart hospital
• Performs scrub role for cardiovascular and thoracic surgical cases including CABG, EVAR, TEVAR, valve replacement, and related procedures
• Shift schedule consists of 2x12-hour days (10:30–23:00) and 2x8-hour evenings (14:30–23:00), with flexibility required within a 06:30–23:00 window
• On-call responsibilities are required
• Weekend rotation required
• Epic EMR in use

Requirements

• Active Ohio RN license or Compact license currently in hand (OH or Compact)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 5 years of total CST experience required
• Minimum 2 years of cardiac and vascular surgical experience required
• Minimum 1 year of dedicated CVOR experience required
• Minimum 1 year of experience in a Level I Trauma facility required
• Proficiency in scrub technique, aseptic technique, and cardiovascular/thoracic instrument reprocessing
• Experience with general OR, thoracic, vascular, and CVOR procedures
• Familiarity with crash cart, scrub and circulate roles, and equipment documentation
