Description

American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Home Health position requiring OASIS and Epic experience, with recent Medicare Home Health and post-op surgical experience.

Details

• Home Health setting with adult patient population
• Caseload of approximately 27–30 cases per day
• Specialized experience with Pleurx drains required
• Day shift, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• Weekend rotation required: approximately 5 weekend shifts every 6 weeks
• On-call may be required
• No floating required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Time tracking via Kronos using a badge swipe system

Requirements

• Active FL or Compact RN license required — pending licenses are not accepted
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of RN experience required
• Recent Medicare Home Health experience required
• Post-op surgical home health experience required (e.g., orthopedic and general surgery)
• OASIS experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Pleurx drain experience required
• 2 professional references from authority figures (Manager, Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Director) from within the last year required for consideration
• Flu vaccine required between October 31 and March 31; medical or religious exemptions accepted
