American Traveler is seeking a travel Occupational Therapist with inpatient rehab experience for a 13-week contract at a 36-bed inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital in San Antonio, TX.

Details

• Inpatient acute rehabilitation hospital setting with 36 beds
• Therapy department serving adult and geriatric patients
• Common diagnoses include stroke, debility, and hip fractures; broader case mix includes brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
• Patient ratio of 1:6
• Equipment includes Lite Gait, walkers, Sci Fit, and treatment tables
• EMR: Rehab Connect
• Day shift, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–2:30 PM
• Saturday weekend hours required
• No on-call or float requirements
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Current OT license (license required if applicable)
• Master's degree required
• Minimum 1 year of OT experience required
• Current AHA BLS/CPR certification required
• Evaluation and treatment skills required
• Inpatient rehab experience preferred
• Social Security number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide customized, intensive occupational therapy evaluation and treatment throughout patients' recovery journeys
• Navy scrubs required
• Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the assignment
• Candidates must reside more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
