Description

American Traveler is seeking a Pediatric Physical Therapist with at least 1 year of experience for an outpatient rehabilitation setting, with pediatric experience preferred.

Details

• Outpatient hospital-based clinic located within a YMCA facility
• Treats a pediatric population with diagnoses including orthopedic conditions, developmental delay, and equipment needs for both pediatric and adult patients
• EMR: Epic
• Schedule consists of four 9-hour shifts Monday through Thursday and a 4-hour shift on Friday, totaling 40 hours per week
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• May be required to float between two outpatient clinic locations

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of physical therapy experience required; pediatric experience strongly preferred
• Experience treating developmental delay, orthopedic conditions, and assessing for appropriate equipment needs required for this role
• Master's degree or DPT accepted
• Active state PT license required (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification required
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration
• Minimum 1 professional reference dated within the past year, from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN

• Responsibilities include evaluation and treatment of pediatric patients across orthopedic, developmental, and equipment assessment cases
• Department onboarding/orientation is 4–5 days
