Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience and Epic proficiency for a night shift position at a hospital in the greater New Orleans area.

Details

• Hospital-based Respiratory Therapy unit
• Night shift schedule: 4x12-hour shifts (18:30–06:30)
• 36 hours per week
• Every other weekend and holiday coverage required
• NICU experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• RRT or CRT credential required
• LA state license required if applicable
• Active certifications required: BLS, CRT, RRT
• Preferred certifications: ACLS, PALS, NRP
• Minimum 2 years of respiratory therapy experience
• Epic EMR experience required
• A supervisor reference dated within the last 12 months is required for consideration
• A copy of a valid driver's license is required for consideration
• Any employment gaps of more than 30 days must be listed and explained
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply

Additional Information

• Blue scrubs are required
• Candidates must live more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate; candidates within 75 miles should inquire about local rate eligibility
• RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the assignment
• Any candidate who has previously worked as a permanent employee at an LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible for a travel assignment
