American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant with inpatient experience and a CO license for a 13-week travel contract at a medical center rehabilitation setting.

• Inpatient rehabilitation setting with patient care also provided in outpatient and home health contexts
• State-of-the-art, newly built Rehabilitation Gymnasium
• Patient population spans all ages, from newborns to elderly, with conditions limiting mobility and functional activity
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• CO PTA license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience as a PTA required; outpatient experience preferred
• Inpatient experience required
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
• Strong communication skills and ability to work independently across varied patient cases and team members

Additional Information

• Work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist, implementing treatment components, collecting patient data, and adjusting interventions to promote progress and ensure safety
• Reports directly to the Rehabilitation Manager
• Bilingual capabilities are considered a plus
• Exposure to unpleasant sights, smells, and infectious diseases is possible
