American Traveler is seeking a PTA for a Home Health assignment in the East Portland, OR / Clark County, WA area, requiring 1 year of skilled home health experience and active OR/WA licensure.

Details

• Home health setting serving East Portland, OR, Clark County, WA, and surrounding areas
• 1:1 patient ratio with visits of up to 6 patients per day and a standard productivity expectation of 30 points per day
• 8-hour day shifts, Monday through Friday; 4x10 and 3x12 schedules cannot be accommodated
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Charting is completed via Epic Remote Client on a laptop and the Rover phone app; OASIS documentation is also required
• Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within a given state
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Active OR and/or WA PTA license required; pending licensure may be accepted
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum 1 year of skilled home health experience required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Reliable personal transportation required
• Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
• SSN and DOB required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide skilled therapy services to patients in their homes across a designated geographic territory; the facility groups clients to minimize drive time, with an occasional maximum daily radius of roughly 60 miles or 60–90 minutes of total drive time
• Business casual attire required; scrubs are permitted but not required and no specific color is mandated; jeans are not allowed
• First-time travelers are welcome to apply
• Local candidates are accepted; candidates residing within a 50–75 mile radius of the facility are considered local
• Former permanent staff must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must not reside within 50 miles of the submitting facility
• RTO is expected to be minimal; any requested time off should be disclosed upfront, as post-offer requests may be denied and failure to honor the agreed schedule could result in contract termination
