Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) for a night shift position requiring Epic EMR experience and active SC licensure across a all-ages patient population.

Details

• Hospital-based Respiratory Therapy unit serving pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients
• Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (18:45–07:15)
• Every other weekend coverage required
• Floating to other Prisma Health units and/or campuses may be required based on census needs; staff will only float to units they are qualified for with demonstrated and documented competencies
• Epic EMR used; minimum 1 year of Epic experience required
• Omnicell medication system used
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Current SC state RRT license (license required if applicable)
• Active ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS certifications required
• Minimum 1 year of recent RRT experience
• Minimum 1 year of Epic EMR experience
• Teaching hospital, community hospital, and Trauma Level I and II experience preferred
• First-time travelers will not be considered
• Candidates must reside 50+ miles from the contracted campus to be eligible for this position
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide respiratory therapy services across a broad patient population including pediatrics through geriatrics
• Prior travel assignment experience is required, as first-time travelers will not be considered
• Candidates residing within 50 miles of the contracted campus are ineligible for this position
