American Traveler is seeking a licensed Physical Therapist for a 13-week travel contract at a Critical Access Hospital in Mammoth Lakes, CA, with a minimum of 1 year of PT experience and active CA licensure required.

Details

• Day shift schedule in an outpatient clinic setting
• Full-time hours at 40 hours per week
• 1:1 patient care model with one 45-minute appointment per hour
• Active in both inpatient and outpatient services, interacting with all hospital departments and medical staff
• Weekend coverage includes scheduled Saturday shifts
• Holiday and Sunday inpatient coverage shared among PTs (approximately one holiday per year and 6–8 Sunday shifts per year)

Requirements

• Active CA PT license required
• Minimum 1 year of PT experience preferred
• Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapy program
• Current BLS/BCLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross required
• Ability to work effectively with patients, peers, physicians, and ancillary departments
• DOB and SSN may be required for consideration

• Responsibilities include patient evaluation, development and revision of individualized treatment plans, administration of appropriate PT modalities, and timely documentation of progress reports
• Treatment plans are reassessed and revised every 6 weeks or earlier based on patient progress
• Located in Mammoth Lakes, CA — a year-round outdoor recreation destination with access to skiing, hiking, mountain biking, fishing, and proximity to Yosemite National Park
• Facility is a 17-bed Critical Access Hospital and Rural Health Clinic with advanced technology and modern facilities
