American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist for an outpatient setting, working a Monday–Friday day schedule with 1+ year of experience and an active South Carolina PT license.

Details

• Outpatient setting, not located on a hospital campus
• Schedule: Monday–Thursday 8:00 AM–5:00 PM, Friday 8:00 AM–12:00 PM (5x8-hour shifts)
• 1:1 patient ratio with 45-minute sessions
• No weekend, on-call, or holiday requirements
• No floating to other units or sister facilities required
• Charts using Epic EMR
• Free parking available on site

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of outpatient physical therapy experience
• Active South Carolina PT license required; candidates with a pending SC license may be considered — license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required (AHA only)
• SSN and driver's license required for consideration
• 2 professional references from a supervisor within the past 2 years required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers are accepted for this position, depending on the role fit
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Former permanent or PRN staff of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before being eligible to work as a traveler
• All requested time off must be disclosed upfront; approval is based on facility needs
• Online orientation modules are completed prior to the start date
• Charcoal gray scrubs are required
• Travelers should be aware that during hurricane season (June–November), all staff may be assigned to emergency response duties; peak activity months are August and September
