American Traveler is seeking a PTA with Home Health experience and an active NH license for a 13-week home health contract covering the Northern Territory of New Hampshire.

Details

• Home health setting covering the Northern Territory, including Lancaster, Groveton, Stratford, Stark, Columbia, Colebrook, Pittsburg, and Errol
• Patient population spans pediatric through geriatric age groups
• Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, with an approximate 8:00–9:00 AM start time and 40 hours per week
• No weekend or on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active NH Physical Therapist Assistant practice license required (license required if applicable)
• Current AHA BLS certification required
• Minimum 1–2 years of recent PTA experience in a home health setting required
• Home health and/or hospice experience required
• Must have a personal vehicle and be comfortable driving in winter weather conditions
• Candidates must reside 50+ miles from the facility to be eligible; permanent address required for consideration
• PTA skills checklist completed within the past year required for consideration
• One supervisory signed reference from the past year of employment required for consideration

Additional Information

• Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a qualified Physical Therapist in accordance with the plan of care
• Utilize therapeutic exercise, modalities, and activities to help patients achieve the highest level of function possible within the home environment
• Previous travel experience is highly preferred
• No more than 5 days of RTO may be requested for this assignment
• Local candidates are not accepted; must reside 50+ miles from the facility
