Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) with pediatric experience for a night shift travel assignment at a children's specialized hospital in Mountainside, NJ.

Details

• Pediatric specialty hospital setting with a Respiratory/Neuro Diagnostics unit
• Patient population includes infants, pediatric, and adolescent patients
• Ventilator management is a core component of the role
• Charting is performed in Epic
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (3x12-hour shifts per week, 36 hrs/week)
• Every other weekend required (Saturday and Sunday)
• 13-week contract
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate

Requirements

• RRT or CRT credential required
• NBRC certification required
• BLS required
• Active NJ or Compact state license required if applicable
• Minimum 1.5 years of respiratory therapy experience required
• Ventilator management experience required
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Two current professional references required
• Skills checklist specific to the unit required
• Copies of certifications required

• Any scrub color is acceptable
• All time-off requests must be submitted and approved prior to offer
• Former RWJBH staff (full-time or PRN) must have been separated from the RWJBH health system for a minimum of 1 year before being eligible for a travel assignment
