Description

American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 3-5 years of hospital experience, including Critical Care, ED, and Pediatric experience, for a night shift position at an acute care hospital.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting with 255 staffed beds
• Inpatient respiratory therapy unit providing a full range of therapeutic and diagnostic services
• Critical Care, ED, and Pediatric patient populations
• Night shift hours: 19:00–07:00 (3x12-hour shifts)
• 3 and 4 day rotation every week
• Every other weekend (EOW) required
• No on-call requirement
• Charting performed in Meditech
• Free parking available in any unrestricted space

Requirements

• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential required
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) credential required
• 3-5 years of hospital experience preferred
• Critical Care, ED, and Pediatric experience required
• Travel experience preferred; first-time travelers are less likely to be considered
• Two professional references required for consideration
• Valid driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Provide inpatient therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory services
• Deliver patient education services, including programs such as Living with COPD and Asthma Awareness
