Description

American Traveler is seeking a Physical Therapist with inpatient acute rehab experience for a 17-week travel contract at a hospital setting in Virginia.

Details

• Inpatient acute rehab setting (not SNF or LTC)
• Patient population includes CVA, brain injury (BI), and spinal cord injury (SCI) — neurological focus
• Day shift, 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM, 8 hours per day, 40 hours per week
• Schedule may follow a Tuesday–Saturday or Sunday–Thursday rotation, or similar flexible arrangement
• 2 weekend shifts required per month
• Uses Epic EMR (Rehab Module)
• No holiday or on-call requirements

Requirements

• Minimum 1–2 years of inpatient acute rehab experience required (SNF and LTC experience does not qualify)
• Experience with neurological patient populations including CVA, BI, and SCI required
• Epic EMR experience, specifically the Rehab Module, required
• Current PT license required if applicable

Additional Information

• Schedule flexibility is expected, as shifts may be structured across non-traditional workweeks (e.g., Tue–Sat or Sun–Thu)
• All RTO requests should be submitted upfront at time of consideration to avoid delays
