American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with 2+ years of experience, including pediatric and OB patient care, for a 13-week night shift travel contract in Lander, WY.

Details

• Night shift hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Respiratory therapy department at an inpatient facility serving both inpatient and outpatient populations
• Pediatric and OB patient populations in addition to general adult patients
• Every other weekend required
• Holiday coverage required

Requirements

• NBRC RRT certification required
• Active WY Respiratory Therapist license required (license required if applicable)
• Minimum 2 years of recent RT experience
• Experience with pediatric and OB patients required
• Current AHA certifications required: ACLS, BLS, NRP, and PALS
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility may be subject to a local pay rate

Additional Information

• Responsibilities include assisting physicians with invasive and non-invasive procedures, delivery of medicated aerosols, airway management, ventilator management, arterial line insertion, intubation, pulmonary function studies, cardiac and pulmonary stress tests, and blood gas analysis
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration
• All certifications must be current — no certifications expiring within the first 30 days of the start date will be accepted
• AHA-issued BLS and ACLS certifications required; RCIS and RQI certifications are not accepted
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
